14" Filter Frame | Sootmaster®
The Sootmaster 14" filter frame provides the structural support that holds the cloth filter in position against the vacuum airstream. A damaged or distorted filter frame allows the cloth filter to shift during operation, creating an air bypass path that bypasses filtration and allows particulate to reach the motor. Replace the frame when it shows distortion, cracks, or deformation rather than waiting for filter performance to degrade. Compatible with Sootmaster 641M and 652M. Inspect the frame at each cloth filter replacement — the frame is subject to the same heat and particulate stress as the filter media and should be treated as a periodically replaced consumable rather than a permanent component.

Mastercraft® accessories are sized by inlet diameter. Most Enviromaster® and SootMaster® vacuums use 1.5" fittings; the Probe 10 Backpack uses 1.25" fittings. Mastercraft® accessories are designed for use with Mastercraft® and Enviromaster® vacuums. While standard-sized fittings may physically fit other brands, Mastercraft® cannot guarantee performance or airtight seal integrity with third-party equipment. For OSHA-regulated work, any accessory that compromises the sealed filtration path will affect compliance.
Crush-proof vinyl hoses maintain their shape and internal diameter even when kinked, stepped on, or run over by equipment. On active job sites — especially remediation, restoration, and industrial environments — this prevents suction loss and motor stress caused by collapsed hoses. Standard hoses are lighter and lower cost, suited for controlled, low-traffic environments.
