The water has to go somewhere. This machine sends it to the drain.

On a water loss, time on the floor is what the job pays for. The product page puts the case in three parts.

Tank Stops

A Standard Wet Vac Fills, Then Stops

A standard wet/dry vacuum fills its tank and stops, and the operator moves the machine and dumps the water by hand. This one adds a built-in pump that transfers the water to a separate drain while the machine keeps running.

20 gal Tank, emptied by the pump as it fills
Pump

3/4 HP Stainless Steel Pump

The pump's casing, housing, seal plate and impeller are 304 stainless steel, with an adjustable float switch and automatic thermal reset protection, built for continuous duty. A strainer sack ships with it to keep debris out of the pump.

4,000 GPH Maximum pump flow · 26 ft max head
Power and Water

A GFCI Cord in the Box

Electricity and standing water meet on a flood job. A 50 ft in-line GFCI cord, UL/cUL listed, ships with the machine and cuts power automatically if the electrical connection is compromised.

50 ft In-line GFCI safety cord

Mastercraft® Pump Out Flood Vacuum

A 1.3 HP bypass motor for the pickup, a 3/4 HP stainless steel pump for the discharge, and a 20 gallon tank between them.

Where restoration crews use it

Residential water losses

Finished and unfinished basements, utility rooms and crawl-space entries: the pump sends the water to a floor drain or out through the discharge hose while the crew keeps extracting.

Commercial water losses

Warehouses, offices and retail floors with standing water on concrete, tile or vinyl, picked up with the 14" metal squeegee tool and the steel wand.

Disaster recovery

Parking garages, mechanical rooms and lower levels after a flood, where the 50 ft in-line GFCI cord and the hoses that ship with the machine reach the water and the drain.

Every unit includes: 15' Vinyl CrushProof Hose · 50' Vinyl CrushProof Hose · 1.5" Swivel Connector · 1.5" Steel Double Bend Vacuum Wand · 14" Metal Squeegee Tool · 1.5" Aluminum Gulper Nozzle · Strainer sack (mesh bag) to protect the pump from debris · 50 ft in-line GFCI safety cord

What Buyers Ask

Questions we hear before an order. A person answers at (845) 565-8850.

What does "pump-out" mean?

The machine has a built-in pump that continuously transfers the water it picks up to a separate drain while it keeps running, so the operator keeps extracting instead of stopping to dump the tank. An adjustable float switch runs the pump.

Where should the discharge go?

The product page's tip: route the pump discharge hose to the nearest floor drain before you start, not partway through when the tank is filling. On large water losses, use a 50-foot hose extension to reach a drain without repositioning the vacuum, and keep the pump intake screen clear of debris.

What protects the operator around standing water?

A 50 ft in-line GFCI cord, UL/cUL listed, ships with the machine. It cuts power automatically if the electrical connection is compromised. Follow your company's electrical safety procedures for wet work areas.

Does it pick up dry debris?

It is a wet-pickup machine, built for water. The strainer sack that ships with it protects the pump from debris, and the pump handles solids up to 1.5 in.

How much water can it move?

The 1.3 HP bypass motor pulls 94 CFM with 84 inches of waterlift, and the 3/4 HP pump discharges up to 4,000 gallons an hour against up to 26 ft of head through a 2 in. NPT side discharge. The 20 gallon polyethylene tank holds the water between pump cycles.

What comes in the box?

15' Vinyl CrushProof Hose, 50' Vinyl CrushProof Hose, 1.5" Swivel Connector, 1.5" Steel Double Bend Vacuum Wand, 14" Metal Squeegee Tool, 1.5" Aluminum Gulper Nozzle, a strainer sack and a 50 ft in-line GFCI safety cord.

Can I buy spare hoses and tools?

Yes. The hoses, swivel connector, wand, squeegee tool and gulper nozzle are each sold on mastercraftusa.com, and the order section above adds spare hoses and floor tools to the same cart.

Do you accept purchase orders, and is Net 30 available?

Yes. You can add your PO number in the cart, and net 30 terms are available to companies that qualify after a credit review. You order direct from the factory at list price. For several machines, use the quote form below; a person replies the same business day.

How soon does it ship?

In stock, it ships from Newburgh, NY; call before you order if the job has a date to meet.

Is it made in the USA?

Yes. The Pump Out Flood vacuum is built in Newburgh, NY, where Mastercraft® has made machines since 1946.
