The Economics of Carrying It — Straightforward by Design
We Build the Demand. You Close It.
You arrive with the answer instead of waiting for the question. That is what it looks like to carry a line whose manufacturer is out in the field generating the work with you.

How Onboarding Works
Dealer Questions
What are the minimums to get started — do I need to commit to a large stocking position to open an account?
No. The Registered Reseller tier requires a $5,000 opening order and a valid reseller certificate. That is the entry point — no annual stocking commitment beyond the $10,000 minimum annual purchases required to maintain Registered Reseller pricing. Accounts that fall below $10,000 in a year purchase at published website pricing; there is no penalty beyond that, and the account remains open. If you are approaching $50,000 in annual volume, your tier automatically upgrades to Authorized Distributor (30% off) within 30 days of crossing the threshold, with written confirmation.
Is this an exclusive territory arrangement, and how does Mastercraft® manage the market so I am not competing with a partner across the street?
The program is non-exclusive, which means you are not locked out of other product lines and Mastercraft® is not locked out of authorizing additional partners. What Mastercraft® does manage is authorized partner density — the line is not distributed so broadly that it loses margin value for the partners who stock and promote it. Your representative can speak to the current partner landscape in your specific markets before you make a stocking commitment.
Does Mastercraft® drop-ship to my customers, and if so, does that create a pricing problem at my accounts?
Drop-ship availability is a conversation with your Mastercraft® channel representative — the program structure and logistics terms are covered in the full 2026 program document, which you receive when you submit the dealer inquiry form. What the program is designed to prevent is the manufacturer undercutting the distributor's margin at the account level; the channel-protection model is built on directing demand through partners, not around them.
What are typical lead times on stocking orders, and how does being a Premier Distributor change that?
Lead times for standard stocking orders depend on current production scheduling and your product mix — your representative will confirm lead times for the specific lines you are planning to stock. Premier Distributors (at $100,000 in annual purchases) receive priority production scheduling, which is a meaningful distinction when you have a time-sensitive project bid that requires a confirmed ship date as part of the award.
If I am working a compliance account or a project bid, how do I protect that account from being re-quoted by another Mastercraft® partner or by Mastercraft® directly?
Register the deal with your Mastercraft® representative. A registered deal ties the account and the project to your partnership record. Mastercraft® does not re-quote a registered deal through another channel while you are actively working it. Deal registration is the right tool for any compliance bid where spec approval and delivery are part of the award — use it early, before the bid closes.
What technical support is available to help my team close compliance-driven sales — and what does Mastercraft® provide when a customer has a warranty or service issue?
At the Premier Distributor tier, dedicated product training and technical support is a named program benefit — your team has a direct resource for spec conversations, OSHA-documentation questions, and application-matching on classified-area or abatement bids. At all tiers, Mastercraft® manufactures the equipment and stocks genuine replacement parts, which means warranty and service questions have a direct resolution path through the manufacturer. You are not managing a third-party service relationship on equipment you sold.
